To summarise the project plan: starting next month in July (following the seaweed harvest); - 3 year sampling plan - We intend to collect 6 field samples at each of two seaweed farms, resulting in a total of 12 samples per sampling event. - One set of 6 samples will be taken at Norfolk Seaweed (off Blakeney), and the other at Algapelago (North Devon). - For each farm, 3 samples will be collected beneath the seaweed farm (approximately 20-50m apart), and an additional 3 samples will be taken at 3 control sites (roughly 500m apart from each other and the farm). - We plan to use two metabarcodes (CO1 and 18S) for each of these samples. - The initial sampling weeks are scheduled for the week of July 7th for Norfolk Seaweed and the week of July 14th for Algapelago, which is just one month away. - Finally, could you please let me know the earliest possible lead time for dispatching the first batch of 12 sample kits to my address below?
