This is an ongoing project to monitor the recovery of the Sussex coast following a bylaw trawler exclusion. The project has a few previous years' worth of data through NatureMetrics. The client will collect spot filter samples (the ezDNA samples) continuing their previous methodology (project 25036-02). These are charged at consumable cost only and will be stored until funds are confirmed for analysis. Additional to the spot filters, the client wants to run three indepth samplers to compare between efficiency of the data and to see if this is an affordable option going forward. Have arranged a meeting with the client after 11/06/25 to discuss deployment method. The samplers will be positioned along the coast to cover the trawler exclusion zone. LVW samples in storage and on-hold until funding attained.
