Just a head-sup that we are expecting ~38 fish farm samples for eDNA analysis which should be with us towards the end of next week. This site has failed as it exceeded the mixing zone area (AZE) last year and the client believes it is due to the site and transect layout. For internal purposes, they have now carried out a full EMP but also collected samples between those 2 cage groups to get a better understanding of the actual area impact. Once the samples have arrived, I will need to confirm with them what primer(s) they wish to analyse. As SEPA has now officially accepted the eDNA2IQI model a couple of weeks ago, they might only want this model to be run in order to keep the spending low as its only for internal use.
